Our story
IJssel Slotenservice was built by one craftsman trained in the old school of locksmithing: look, measure and only then act, and never force a door if it can be opened without damage. More than fifteen years on, that is still the method, now combined with certifications, modern opening techniques and security work based on the Dutch PKVW guidelines.
We know the doors in this region: the historic houses of central Zutphen, farms and detached homes around Lochem, 1930s streets in Deventer and Apeldoorn and new builds near Arnhem and Doetinchem. That is why we work fast. We often know which lock sits behind a door before we step out of the van.
We believe a locksmith should above all be reliable. You usually call us at the worst moment of your day: at night in the rain, or right after a break-in. At that point you do not want to negotiate about price, you want someone who shows up, explains what is going on and fixes it properly.
